Crostini Appetizer

SAM_4835This past weekend I made prosciutto, ricotta and pear crostini for my friend’s baby shower. It was my first time making these savory bites, so I was a little nervous about how they would turn out, but they looked great and were yummy too!

Ingredients:

All you need to make these crostini bites are the following ingredients

  • French bread
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Prosciutto
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Pear
  • Arugla
  • Cracked peper
  • Sea salt
  • Honey

Slice bread into 1/2 inch pieces and then brush olive oil on each side. Place in oven to toast,  for about 2-3 minutes at 350 degrees. Spread ricotta cheese on each piece, then layer a slice of pear, prosciutto and garnish with arugula.  You can also add some fresh cracked pepper, and sea salt with a drizzle of honey to top it off.

It’s truly an easy recipe, and a fun one to make! For more ideas on how to make these party-perfect snacks, peek at the recipes from Real Simple. I hope you enjoy! xo
