Farmers Market Treats

image

It’s one of Chris’ favorite places in the city–the farmer’s market at the Ferry Building. We don’t go often, but this past week we planned in advance to make a visit Saturday and pick-up some treats for the week.We got there before 10am to beat the crowds so we could leisurely stroll about each table eating our way through the tents. Peaches, tomatoes, salami, and cheese are a few of the items we picked up (in addition to this beautiful bundle of hydrangeas!).

Once we stocked our market tote (found at Williams-Sonoma) we nestled ourselves on a bench and shared a breakfast sandwich (another reason to get there early so you can find a seat). The day was perfectly gorgeous with a clear-eye view of the Bay bridge. We have so many wonderful shots from our day that I had a hard time making a selection for this post.image

The lace on the back of this Anthro top is a delicate detail that can’t be missed!

After perusing the outside tents we went inside and grabbed a fresh-pressed juice and a strawberry-filled donut (my weakness)!

Before heading home, I couldn’t resist a jaunt to union square (to peek at the retail sales). How cute is this Goorin Bros wide brim hat?! I have a feeling I’ll be back in there very soon.
