Top Bun Kind-of-day

This is my second blog post from our trip to the coastal town of Mendocino. We took so many great scenic shots of the pacific ocean, I can’t help but want to share them with my friends and family. Our first morning was cloudy, with light showers–and given the drought we’re in, we couldn’t complain. I love foggy days, and it makes for great pictures.

Here, I’m on the edge of a cliff with Chris yelling in the background, “babe, be careful!” He’s not a fan of heights. 🙂

As you can tell, we stayed pretty casual the whole weekend. A top bun, espadrilles and some stretchy pants sums up the mood for this entire day. These shoes are so comfortable, and the more I wear them in, the softer they get. I found them on sale at Anthropologie a few months ago, but linked another similar pair below. We heard about this winery on the edge of a cliff, so we ventured a little further north to Fort Bragg and made a visit to Pacific Star Winery. We each ordered a glass of Pinot and strolled down to these red adirondack chairs, where we stayed awhile; I about fell asleep, it was so relaxing. I guess that’s what vacations are for, and we definitely soaked in the calm, serene air.I have one more post to share from our trip to Mendocino. If you missed my last one, you can take a peek here to see pictures from the apple farm.
