Yay! Spring is here. Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom and Northern California is showing off its beauty in full glory. As a native Floridian I always admired these romantic flowers from afar, and dreamed of one day living in a place where I could experience them first hand. With each new season, there is a fresh start — a birth of new life, as seen in these captivating cherry blossoms. And with Easter around the corner, I can’t help but feel thankful. I have an extra spring in my step and I’m ready to swing into Spring.

Snow Leopard & Stripes in St. Helena
We absolutely adore the quaint town of St. Helena! If you’ve been following along on my blog, you’ll know Chris and I got married in St. Helena at the dreamy Meadowood. Sunday was our one year wedding anniversary so we booked a long weekend in Wine Country to celebrate and relive our wedding memories.
Date Night Inspiration
February is here! Can you believe it? The days are turning into months, which are turning into years. Time is flying by at a colossal speed. This month is a particularly special time for me — and not only for Valentine’s Day — it marks our one year wedding anniversary. In honor of Valentine’s Day (and our soon-to-be anniversary) I’m sharing a his and her date night inspired look with a few tidbits I’ve learned from my first year of marriage.
Sunshine in paradise
Chris and I are home for the holidays, and elated to be back in Florida visiting with friends and family. Chris’ parents and brothers live in Boca Raton and my family is on the west coast of Florida, in Ft. Myers. We’ll be bouncing back and forth between each coast soaking in the sun, and spending time with our families. I forget how humid and muggy it can get down here, and how quickly rain can sneak-up on you. On our walk over to the pink laden Waldorf Astoria Resort for some lunch, rain sprinkles drizzled down on us despite the sight of blue, sunny skies. From one minute to the next weather can change without warning. Oh, Florida; I forget how temperamental you can be. It’s good to be home, in paradise!
San Francisco Pink
By now it’s no secret that I like pink. When I discovered this pink painted wall in San Francisco I couldn’t resist a little fashion shoot to capture the monochromatic moment. The city showcases so many colors with its eclectic neighborhoods, making San Francisco enticing eye candy. I find inspiration all around, even in the sweet exterior of Hayes Valley.
