Nothing says spring quite like chambray. Whether paired with trousers or a skirt, you can wear chambray every day. It’s one of those pieces I always include in an overnight bag for a weekend trip due its versatility. I’ve worn my jean shirt to the beach, out to lunch and into the evening for cocktails and dinner, as seen in this post. Today is International Women’s Day — a time that celebrates and empowers women. Let’s take a moment to think about the women in our lives and how we can encourage them and support them to pursue their God given talents and dreams. I’ve always had mentors and friends who’ve supported me with my career, life decisions, and encouraged me to pursue my creative passions. I’m forever grateful for those relationships and how God’s used those people to make me who I am today. As women, we play so many roles — mom, sister, daughter, friend, boss, confidant, mentor, nurturer — and it can be easy to forget who we are and loose our way. When life gets confusing, I fall back on the purest and truest words of Proverbs 31 to guide my heart and remind me who I truly am.
