Summer is still sizzling strong, despite all this “end of summer” talk, and I’m savoring every last bit that it has to offer–including these long, sunny afternoons. Although many designers have released their fall collection, I’ve been wearing this little, white, lace Joie dress on repeat.

I’ve been on the hunt for a light-wash denim jacket for quite some time now. I finally found this one I liked at a reasonable price. Its texture is lightweight and somewhat stretchy, which is great on a warmer day when you just need a little something to cover your shoulders. But if you already have fall on your mind, don’t worry–this is a jacket you can wear throughout the seasons! Even a little white dress is wearable into fall. Slip on a pair of booties and a cashmere cardigan, and you’ve just transitioned seasons.

During the weekend my wardrobe is quite casual, especially while running errands. One of my favorite plazas has most everything we need to cross off our weekend to-do list.  In one full sweep I can drop off my dry cleaning, visit the market and even sneak a peek at the flower shop. Just across the way is the New England Lobster Shack. Chris loves to stop by for a bite to eat, and relish a taste of home. And when the weather is nice, and we have the time, we like to linger awhile with a refreshing drink. The naked lobster roll is an absolute must and thankfully, during our last visit, I didn’t spill anything on my white dress. 🙂
