Summer Brights

One of my favorite aspects about summer is the beautiful flowers in bloom. Here on the island you’ll find hydrangeas at almost every corner, and they are stunning. To complement this lush environment I wore a yellow Tory Burch dress (you can find it on sale here) with a pair of Ivonka Trump flats to dinner last night.

My hair is a little wind-blown, but it was worth the sunset view at the Wauwinet!

Tour de Nantucket

Today we biked 16 miles round trip to visit the ‘Sconset Beach to have lunch at the Summer House Bistro. Boy did we get a leg workout, but it was worth the exercise. Every nook has its own beauty and the southeast side of the island did not disappoint.

Lunch was delicious, and our breezy view of the Atlantic ocean captivated us into traveler’s paradise. So far it has been a perfect Sunday afternoon.

A Fourth of July Tradition

We arrived on the island of Nantucket this afternoon and didn’t waste anytime; quickly we checked into our hotel and darted through the quaint cobblestone streets to explore. Everything on this island is charming! You can’t help but be captivated by it’s beauty.

This is our second trip to Nantucket to celebrate the fourth of July holiday; while I love traveling to new destinations, I also cherish tradition especially when it comes to celebrations and holidays. Happy birthday America, you are brave and we’re proud to call you home. What’s your fourth of July tradition?
