If you’ve been following along with the blog, you know that I’m a long time lover of the brand Joie. They carry a beautiful array of effortless yet sophisticated styles that can easily be worn from day to night. Any time I shop investment pieces I like to ensure they are wearable for multiple purposes; and this silk Alpina dress certainly fits that mold. I was immediately drawn to the Victorian style and flowy silhouette. The delicate details, all inspired by a vintage Indian scarf, are intricately woven together for a unique, one-of-a-kind piece! Having already worn this dress on several outings, I thought it would be fun to showcase two looks with one dress, further solidifying the vast ways you can style Joie!
Look I – Victorian Romantic
For a more sophisticated style, I paired the dress with black heels and a velvety clutch. To further elevate the dress, you can also layer on a fur vest which is great for warmth on a chilly night (as it quite usually is in San Francisco!).
Look II – Bohemian Chic
For more of a weekend look, I threw on some booties and a fedora hat. This combination certainly draws out a bohemian flair that perfectly suits a day out with the gal pals, wine tasting, or for some afternoon retail therapy.
