If you follow my instagram feed you know how excited I was to discover Madewell, a few weeks ago. My friend from church invited me to a shopping event at the store, and I was immediately hooked; its effortless style is perfect for weekend attire. I find that my closet is full of work-appropriate outfits so I’ve been on the hunt for more casual pieces.
I’ve never owned a pair of high-waisted jeans because I haven’t been able to find a pair that fits right; but, I truly love this Sailor Pair from Madewell. The cut, pockets and fit are just right–and that’s a hard combination to find (especially in the behind area!). If you’re on the lookout for new jeans, I highly recommend these.
I wore this outfit to grab some wine with Chris on a Friday night, after a long work-week. The weather was just beginning to cool down so I took full advantage of the opportunity to wear my oversized scarf. The bay area is known for having micro-climates, where the temperature can literally drop twenty degrees from day to night or within a certain geographical area. It’s always recommended to prepare with an extra something, in case the wind brings cooler weather. There are so many ways you can wrap yourself in this scarf, and I have a few looks here on the blog:
