This Valentine’s day I’m opting for a more casual look. Truth be told, we have no plans for Tuesday. Our two-year wedding anniversary is on the 21st of February, so we’re planning to celebrate this coming weekend, which will likely include a nod to the holiday of Love–Valentine’s day. Life has been so hectic these days, we tend to prefer simple nights at home. This vintage tee is perfect for a more casual celebration, and isn’t limited to just the heart-filled holiday; it transcends the month of February. Valentine’s Day Gifts Under $100
Valentine’s day has always been a favorite holiday of mine. Even back when I was single, I enjoyed celebrating the month of love with gusto! Perhaps it’s the hopeless romantic in me. Any excuse to to host a party or get the gals together for a glamorous glass of champagne, I’m all in.
With only one week away, I’m rounding up a few Valentine gifts under $100 for that special someone in your life. This time of year lends an opportunity to express care and happy thoughts towards our cherished friends. Small but sweet gifts are one of the many ways to send love. What I’m Most Thankful For This Holiday Season
This time of year I love watching the trees transform, and the leaves change colors. There is something so symbolic about the fall season, which is why–I think–we all can’t get enough of this time of year. The cooler, slower months not only allow for hibernation but provide room for us to reflect and recharge our batteries as we prepare to enter into a new year. And with Thanksgiving on Thursday I wanted to share a few things I’m thankful for this year, including some of my favorite cozy knit sweaters to lounge around in this holiday season.
Shopping Event at Joie in Palo Alto
As a recap to the shopping event I hosted on Sunday, I wanted to share a few photos from the day. It was truly a blast, and left me wondering if I found my calling in life–getting to spend the afternoon in a beautiful boutique, playing dress-up with friends is what little girls’ dreams are made of. Am I right? The day began with pampering at Space NK, where Adam graciously helped me get ready for the day by doing my makeup; later, Space NK setup a pop-up counter in the Joie boutique, where guests could test beauty products and also get their makeup done, all while sipping champagne of course.
I’ll let the photos do most of the talking, but I did want to give a big thanks to Joie and Space NK for sponsoring the goodie bags.
